Arthur Lauer and I recorded this album back in 1995.  It was truly a labor of love.  He was a consummate musician and composer, a flute player who understood my arrangements and transcriptions.  They are not flute showcases with guitar accompaniment; at times, the guitar takes center stage while the flute provides accompaniment or support.  Arthur grasped that concept immediately and actually embraced it, claiming that it made a better musician of him.
